I don't use this as often as i should.

Quick post before work

Morning. It's a Friday. Dress down day at work, and i guess day two of approx 11600. I'll work on an official figure that includes leap years etc later.

Quick note about the cameras I use. I don't own a camera anymore. I did have a 4mega pixel video camera that took stills, but that's died recently. Now I use my smart phone with it's 1.3 m/p camera. Rockin'. It can be pretty good though, in the right conditions.

Michelle has an 8m/p Lumix thing. It has lots of buttons and settings which i don't really understand. It's her thing. I prefrer what my dad calls "an idiot button". I guess that makes me like my mother.

Anyways: Here's some pictues of Lake Mead near Las Vegas/Road trip to the Grand Canyon I took with my camera phone.

Ok, that turned out ok. Let's try multiple pictures, see what happens...

Right. Not 100% happy with the layout, but i'm sure i can tweak that later.

So, who are these people?

The baby is our expecting son, Ethan. Due in 15 weeks.

The lady in the pink hat is my lovely wife.

The black cat is Keed. He's 10 years old.

The ginger cat is Gizmo. I think he's about 15. However, he's also ageless and will no doubt out live us all. Then feast on our bones.

There's a nice thought.

Right, that's enough for now. I'm going to try to drag Michelle off the phone.

Day one, of 11559... ish

Just got back from Edinburgh. Michelle is on the phone. Decided to start a new blog to replace my live journal and it's frankly childish name.

Probably not going to go public with this one though. People can find it if they really want.

So, the first few posts are going to be somewhat experimental. I think i'm going to include a picture, just to see what it looks like.

So, this is one of me. Taken in January during a walk up Pendle Hill. It's fairly representative.
